The Willie Blog

Cats, cats and cats!

Me, just being me!

Hi, my name is Willie and I’m 8 years old (in human years).  I was adopted at age 2 when my owner spotted me at the Humane Society.  You might have read already that I’m a free range cat.  This means that I go in and out of my house when I want, travel around with my owner and explore different places (inside and outside). There is no cat like me!

I like to ice cold water from mugs, both by putting my face in the mug or by dipping my paw in, then licking.  My preferred food is the most natural dry cat food available – I don’t like by-products, corn or fish.  Your cat might like tuna, but me, no way!  The only human food I might sample is sour cream, yogurt or freshly baked bread.

Though I was born in America, my “breed” is considered a Van Alike.  I have the fluffy hair and colors of a Turkish Van, but by no means am I a purebred anything (except for sweetheart!) While we don’t always get along so well, I live with a 4 year old gray cat named Susie.

I like trips in the car, when my owner stirs my food, looking out the window, smelling new places and being pet gently. I dislike having my teeth brushed, when my food bowl isn’t full enough for me to nuzzle my nose in it and when dust gets into my water mug.

Please enjoy my site!

Thanks,

Willie
